Robert Davoli, Managing Director, Sigma Partners
Bob is a Managing Director at Sigma Prime Ventures. Bob joined Sigma Prime’s precursor fund Sigma Partners in 1995. In his venture capital career Bob has had numerous notable successes. He has appeared 5 times on Forbes’ Midas List, a ranking of top venture capitalists. He has also appeared on the cover of Business Week. Prior to Sigma, Bob was a successful entrepreneur. He was President and CEO of Epoch Systems (sold to EMC) and founder, President and CEO of SQL Solutions (sold to Sybase). Bob has a B.A. in history from Ricker College.
Brent Delehey, formerly Chief Executive Officer, Forefield, Inc.
Brent joined Forefield as CEO in 2002. During his tenure at Forefield, he turned the company around, growing revenue over 300% and eventually selling the business to Broadridge Financial Solutions (NYSE: BR). Prior to Forefield, Brent co-founded Business Data Exchange (BD-X), the first real-time corporate transcript and corporate modeling service. He successfully sold BD-X to CCBN.com (now Thomson/Reuters). Earlier, Brent was President & CEO of First Call Corporation. Brent holds an M.B.A. from Boston University and a B.S. in Economics from Dartmouth College
Dean Hatton, formerly Chief Executive Officer, Higher One Payments, Inc.
Dean served as Chief Executive Officer and President of Higher One Holdings, Inc. from March 2002 until June 30th 2012. During this time, Higher One grew from a pre-revenue start up to a business with $197 million of revenue and $62 million of cash flow. Higher One provides universities with payment services and university students with banking services. As of the end of 2012, Higher One had 2.0 million student checking account holders. Dean led Higher One’s successful IPO on the New York Stock Exchange in June 2010. Prior to Higher One Dean served as Chief Operating Officer of Carlson Wagonlit Travel, and as a Senior Vice President at Citigroup. Dean has a BA in Economics from Franklin and Marshall College, and a graduate degree from Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
Frank G. LaPrade, Chief Enterprise Services Officer, Capital One Financial
Frank joined Capital One in 1996 and has served as Chief of Staff to the CEO since January of 2004, adding additional responsibilities as Chief Enterprise Services Officer in 2010. In that capacity, he manages Information Technology, Brand Marketing, Corporate Development and Digital Banking for the company. Prior to joining Capital One, Frank worked at McGuire Woods where he was a commercial and intellectual property litigator. He received a J.D. from the Wake Forest University School of Law and a B.A. in English from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Warren Wilcox, formerly Head of Client Consulting – Visa, Inc.
Warren has more than 30 years of experience in consumer financial services. He has held a variety of executive management positions at Visa, Providian, Fleet Boston, Household International, Atlantic Financial and Citigroup. He is currently the founder and manager of W2 Associates, which advises clients on potential investments in the financial services space. Warren is also a director of Encore Capital Group (NASDAQ: ECPG). He has an M.S. in Management from Purdue University.
Benjamin H. Malka, Partner Emeritus.
Ben joined North Hill Ventures in 1999 with a deep understanding of the financial services industry. For two decades, he has worked with companies specializing in banking, investments, payments, information technology, and analytics. Before joining North Hill Ventures, Ben was at the Boston Consulting Group, where he focused on advising consumer brands, financial institutions and software vendors to the financial services industry. Earlier in his career, Ben worked as a consultant at McKinsey and Company and at Bank of America.
